How To Make A Victoria Sponge Cake
Ingredients To Make The Cake
Pre-heat the oven to 190 degrees C.
1. First mix the sugar and butter together until the mixture looks creamy and everything is mixed together.
2. Next, crack all 6 eggs into a bowl and whisk with a fork/whisk.
3. Then pour the eggs and flour bit by bit or all in one go into the bowl with the sugar and butter in and then mix all the ingredients together.
4. Put some baking paper on 2 of the same small-sized trays then bake for 20-25 minutes at 190 degrees C.
How To Make Buttercream
1. Add the butter, icing sugar and milk into a bowl.
2. Mix together until creamy.
5. Take the cakes out of the oven and leave to cool.
6. Once the cakes are cooled spread the buttercream on 1 of the cakes and spread the jam on the other 1.
7. Once all the buttercream and jam has been spread put the 2 cakes together to make 1 large cake and if you want you can put some icing sugar on top of the cake.

- 140g Icing Sugar
- A Drop Of Milk
